Mary Oishi

 Mary Oishi, Poet Laureate Emeritus of Albuquerque (2020-2022), is author of Spirit Birds They Told Me (West End Press, 2011), and co-author of Rock Paper Scissors (Swimming with Elephants, 2018). One Albuquerque, One Hundred Poems, the anthology she edited from her Poets in the Libraries Series, was released in 2022. Her work appears in numerous print and digital publications nationally and internationally, including in translation. Oishi served as instructor for UNM Valencia and Taos Writers Conference, and as a poetry mentor for Kundiman. She will be reading from Sidewalk Cruiseship, her upcoming collection from University of New Mexico Press.
