Jules’ Poetry Playhouse bookstore and gallery will be open, in addition to our Little Free Library.

Bruce Holsapple worked as Speech-Language Pathologist in the Magdalena, NM schools and is now retired. He’s published nine books of poetry. His most recent publication is Wayward Shadow (La Alameda 2013). He’s now working on two new books. His book-length study of William Carlos Williams’ poetry, The Birth of the Imagination, was published by the University of New Mexico Press in 2016. Bruce will be reading new work and from his latest manuscript, Sun, Wind, Rain.
Michael Boughn co-edited with Kent Johnson the notorious online disturbance, Dispatches from the Poetry Wars, from 2014-18. His most recent poetry books are Uncertain Remains (BlazeVox 2022) and The Book of Uncertain—A Hyperbiographical User’s Manual (Spuyten Duyvil, 2022). He is co-editor of Robert Duncan’s The H.D.Book. A book of his essays, Measure’s Measures—Poetry and Knowledge, is due out from Station Hill Press in September 2023. Michael lives in Toronto, Ontario, and is visiting Placitas.
